We work with local communities to co-design research on the wider factors that affect health to drive meaningful change that improves lives across Surrey. By listening, sharing ideas, and learning together, we use what we discover to help improve health and wellbeing for all.
Health starts where we live, learn, and work. Through INSPIRE, we partner with Surrey communities to understand what matters most and turn research into action.
What is Public Involvement in research?
Public involvement in research means working with or by people, not just doing research to, about or for them. It’s about sharing decisions, valuing lived experience, and making research more inclusive and useful.
